Works like a charm...

I had been debating buying this mat, as I really wanted one that rotated when trimming my half-square triangles. Well, I recently began piecing a quilt that called for a lot of half-square triangles, and in the middle of piecing it, I just got so frustrated, got on-line, found the best price on this mat here on Amazon, and bought it! I am so glad I did! 2 day free shipping, and it was here! It has made finishing the quilt so much easier. I have to say I have not had any trouble keeping the mat in the base while rotating it. I worried about that after seeing it mentioned in some of the reviews, but so far, so good. I also wondered about the quality of the mat itself, as I have a large cutting board, different brand, that I really like. Well, the Fiskars brand seems to be holding up just fine. All in all, I am very pleased!

This was a great purchase for me. It's very handy being set next to my sewing machine. I like that you don't have to move your fabric, just rotate the mat. Very convenient.
